1966 Eureka Springs School Driver Education

Pictured here with Coach Gammil in the driver’s seat is the 1967 Ford Galaxie furnished to the Eureka Springs School Driver Education course by Bill Coleman of Modern Motors. Shown standing by the new car which is equipped with all modern safety features are six of the 14 students who have already signed up for the Driver Education course: Larry Hill, Karen Weems, Ricky Weaver, Pat Alexander, Linda Shelton and Diane Weems. 1965 Trailer-Truck Mishap on Leatherwood Hill

Traffic was stopped on the hill while wreckers from O’Connor’s Service Station and Modern Motors and an Ozarka Water truck worked to get the truck back on the highway.
