I remember the Wild Roses in Arkansas, where we lived, but ours were pink. Could be the soil that they were growing in?
We also have pink and red wild rose in the hollow here. They seem to bloom later than the white wild rose. I call them all “wild rose” but perhaps they have more accurate names of which I am unaware.
